Fauci is a textbook doctor that was hired for advice. He finally has a voice in decisions and does not want to go back to his former role. He sees himself as someone that finally got some say in what should be done and thinks his word should be followed. Watch him on TV, he thinks anyone that doesn't go along with him should be ignored as ignorant. His whole line of advice is based on proven falsehoods yet he still stands by them. And wants more. Following his advice would collapse the country as well as the medical profession itself. It already is. The worst part is, what they have done with hospitals is costing lives in keeping people from procedures the need. Procedures that can save lives. Procedures now called " nonessential". Unless they become emergencies. When it is too damn late.

No one is denying science. Everyone followed along like little puppy dogs with the shut downs and distancing as the scientists directed. People were clamoring that trump follow the recommendations of scientists even as he did just that.

Its seems the science deniers were the ones predicting millions dead even as the numbers were saying otherwise. Or the ones ignoring the recent antibody tests showing much higher infection rates and lower death rate. Or the ones ignoring the tracing results showing no real evidence of transmission from kids as they closed schools down for the year.

In the beginning this was about flattening curves so hospitals went over run, right? Not eternal lockdown. So everyone was following the science doing what the scientists say till these outrageous models you, and other almighty scientists like yourself, pushed so hard turns out to be one step below a lunatics rantings.

The curves flattend and the nation wide disater didn't happen. Dont tell me about the deaths, tragic as they are, the idiots attempting to use them to control others could give a shit less about people who die in even larger numbers when those dont fit a useful narrative. It rings hollow and is fake.

People in leadership would do well not to forget their place. Those people might be called traitors and traitors die first when the time to correct things finally comes. Things like arresting Jews for gathering at a funeral service for breaking an edict while you are pictured doing the same thing are what I'm talking about. Or picking a specific religion to hinder or assembly to deny and allowing others to go on. People doing those things should fear prosecution, job termination at least. Because those are crimes.

No one denies there is a pandemic. No one denies it will take time to develop a vaccine. No one denies that they may not be able to develop a vaccine ever. Those same people know how to protect themselves now and the vulnerable know to continue to isolate. End of story.

The only people screaming to stay locked down are doing so from their method or place of employment. Take their livelihood from them for a few months and I might respect their opinion if it was still the same. Let's see their family's wellbeing destroyed and them not allowed to try to rescue it and forced only to take a weeks pay in return for the destruction.
