I gave up my electric for a 20v Dewalt... I love the thing! Stuff up to 7" cut easy and that's as big as will roll into my stove without splitting anyway. Nice about either battery or electric is how fast they stop, but the lack of a cord makes battery a winner.

Thursday is down for my next firewood cut; hopefully the last of the year.

I can't remember the last time I fell.

I can.
One foot got caught in the dod's lead, then the other foot. Went down pretty hard. Chewed up my hand, elbow, shoulder and part of my back.
Coffee was not spilled, I mamaged to save it, so major crisis was averted.

I just picked up this Ryobi today. I have a monster Sachs Dalmar and a 16” Homelite gas. Needed to do some lite-ish work. This thing is awesome! Unless I’m remote- those gas bastards are a thing of my past.

imade the switch to a skil 40v last year i'm very impressed with what it can do!
