I have been lusting after these since they first hit the market. I wasn't sold on the 338 Lapua as a need that I had but these rifles only come chambered in .308, .300 Win Mag, and .338 Lapua. BTDT with the .308 and the .300 WM has never really interested me. I figured I might as well go big.

Factory ammo runs $3.50 a round for the "cheap" stuff and up to and beyond $6 a round for the best available. I reload so keeping it fed shouldn't be near that hard on the wallet. Plus I can taylor loads for it to squeeze every bit of accuracy available.

I bought the rifle used with 300 rounds of mixed factory ammo for a screaming deal so all the damage is done to my wallet for a while.

    Pics to follow shortly.

The stock is aluminum and ofcourse free floated. It is very ridgid. It is also of the Accustock variety.

The 20 MOA scope rail includes the front and side rails. I don't see myself mounting anything besides a scope so I may swap it out to a standard 20 MOA rail and lose the extra rails. I haven't decided yet.

It has a five round detachable box magazine and the wonderful Accutrigger.

The buttstock is a Magpul PRS2 and allows for a wide variety of adjustment. The second pic has the larger recoil pad installed.

Anybody is more than welcome to shoot it free of charge. That is the least I can do.

Now I just need to tear it apart and check all the bolts and screws. It also needs to be cleaned and the trigger checked. Still deciding on the scope mount and if I want to drop all the extra rails.

I will get the scope mounted and get some more pics posted.

I would have gone with the 300. Although the 338 is neat it just doesn't offer that much more to justify the jump in component and abuse.
