Exactly, what are they going to do arrest all of us.

Which brings up another point.....the left has opened the door with all the sanctuary policies with regard to illegals, even felons and murderers that they protect against federal law. Already some municipalities are starting their own sanctuary policies in states that have banned certain firearms against their own state.

The sanctuary laws aren't necessarily a bad thing since the bar has been set, albeit by the opposition. We will always find refuge from federal overreach in many locales, especially in most areas in our state. Eventually there will be states/areas where private firearm ownership will be illegal and a crime and areas where it will not be.

    What COLOR are the Libertarians?

Red is disappointing me, making me RED with anger.
Blue makes me feel really BLUE.

Purple, a vote for a third party is often just taking away a vote from the republican. The lesser of two evils is still evil, but trump or bust sadly for our nation to make it.

That is the myth they tell us to believe.

Purple is for the centrists (anyone that likes unconstitutional legislation from both parties)...Libertarian is gold...opposite of red-purple-blue-green, etc...

Overstate much? Shouting doesn't help either. A background check does not take away the right to private property. We already have BCs, just not UBCs. And BCs and UBCs certainly don't take away our 2A. Get a grip.
You do not know what your talking about. In order for universal background checks to be implemented you must have a national gun registration. It will be something like this. First the government will likely have a grace period for all citizens to register their firearms. Second will be anybody in possession of an unregistered firearm can be fined and/or imprisoned. Third will be that if anyone is found to have sold, traded, lost, or had a firearms stolen without a background check (or proof they reported the firearms stolen) will be subject to fines and/or imprisonment. Fourth this effectively ends the legal right to build your own receivers (ghost guns) without serial numbers for your personal use witch is currently legal to do since all firearms will have to be registered and have serial numbers. Fifth and finally is the fact that with a up to date data base anytime they decide to implement another (unconstitutional) ban weather it be a semi auto ak, ar, or just all detachable mag semi auto rifles and shotguns in general or impose a tax, mandatory liscense, or mandatory liability insurance on each firearm owned witch is likely when the socialist/communist democraps get back control witch is going to happen sooner or later (we have too many stupid people voting).

Every single election is about the lesser or two evils. Every. Single. One. I don't give a **** if it's the general in the presidential election with 100M+ voters or your HOA with 50.

So tired of the self-righteous whining and complaining from those thinking whoever they vote for should reflect and do every single thing they have in their mind and they stand for....or else. Or else what? Bernie? GMAFB. That candidate doesn't fucking exist in the real world.

Voted for many presidential candidates over the years. None of them perfect. However I will say looking back that this is perhaps the best I've voted for despite all his faults.

Trump is the clear choice for any pro 2A voter, unless you have other issues you quarrel with him on where you would rather support the left, whether open borders, 70% tax rate, government takeover of healthcare and energy or any other myriad of topics. Then you'll just have to weigh what's most important.
The problem is not finding a politician who agrees with every issue I or anyone else has. The problem is finding a politician WHO FOLLOWS THE RULE OF LAW AND THE DOES NOT PUSH LAWS THAT ARE IN CLEAR VIOLATION OF THE CONSTITUTION. The Constitution and Bill of Rights ARE NOT WRITTEN FOR THE CITIZENS. THEY ARE WRITTEN TO LIMIT THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENTS POWER. Anyone who is to stupid to understand this is also too stupid to vote.

Where did you read that a UBC requires a gun registry? Background check is on the person, not the gun.

Feel free to be obstinate, but I am not reading anyone's post written in all bold.
We have a hole generation at or soon to be of age to vote who prefer socialism/communism to capitalism. A generation who have no face to face skills and do not know how to deal with rejection and failure (something life is full of). A government that is so corrupt that we witness major crimes that would send any common citizen or military member to prison for MANY years while our government and rich elites seem to be immune from prosecution. A trade imbalance that has literally killed manufacturing in America. A worthless currency backed by NOTHING that is losing value every year. A military being used as a world police force while our government refuses to secure our borders from an ongoing invasion that will change America into a third world, cartel controlled sewer within many of our lifetimes. And so much more but your worried about someones writing style. You are part of the problem.

Tough to enforce UBCs without knowing who has every gun to start with. Only way to do that is registration.

The “Libertarian” party is an open borders joke and has no respect for the right to life.

    Nothing golden about that.

Well, like most laws, it only affects the law abiding. All I have heard is that it requires personal sales and so called "gun show loophole" purchases to go through a FFL.

That may be what’s on the table, but it wouldn’t work because it would be nearly impossible to enforce. Then the next time someone goes nuts with a rifle they purchased from an FFL after a background check they would claim UBCs failed because of the obvious flaw of not knowing who the original owner is and registration would follow.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not in favor of UBC's. I was wondering where it was said that a UBC would require a national gun registry.
