Gas prices in your area

Oil was $116/barrel a few minutes ago. The station down the street from my house is $3.99 today. Over $.60 increase in less than a week. If you have gas to get to a voting site, remember this at election time!

It was $3.15/gal. at the local Exxon, where daughter & wife filled up on Monday. Last night, I noticed it was up to $3.49.

$3.49 to $3.59 and you'll consider that low in a couple of days. $4 will seem cheap in a few weeks. A lot of money is about to be made for those in the fuel business since what they sell was bought on long term contracts.

Filled up the tank a couple hours ago. Paid $3.79/gl. Haven't filled up in a while, and it was a large hit to my wallet.

Try filling up along the interstate or a small town. On my trip it cost almost 80 bucks a couple times.

Filled up my pickup an hour ago and the local Valero is rationing fuel. Stopped my diesel pump at $74 and still had quarter tank to fill.


My brother stopped at the same place a few minutes ago and he only got $60 of gasoline.

I haven't bought gas since January 3rd, so I guess I'm in for sticker shock next time I fill up. Looking at some of the first posts in this thread, it appears that gas has gone up about $2 a gallon in the last 2 years.

Possible predictions which are usually a worst case - war continues then end of year gas at $7-$8. Freeze all Russian oil exports then a lot higher. I have a small yard but I'm liking my rechargeable lawn equipment even more.

I have to buy premium for both my GMCs so the $3.85 per gallon and 10 MPG aren't going well together right now.
