I thought a few months back that I should get my bike out and go for a ride. Mapped out a couple mile path and set off. Turned around and came back not far into it. I couldn't believe how out of shape I had gotten. I used to be a sponsored mountain bike racer. Now, I can't make it up the hill a few blocks from my house. I know I need to get back on it again, but I need to find a flat route to take without hills to start with. Since I work out of the house, maybe I could start doing this in the afternoon at lunchtime. I have started using a pedometer on my phone and try to get at least 5000 steps a day. My goal is 10000 on the weekends.
