Handgun in the open while driving?

    You think I drove the speed limit to San Angelo last summer? I pretty much keep it within the 10% though, above that is what they most often look for.

    So this solution consists of a loose pocket hanging down in front of the seat? Sorry, but I can draw from the holster on my hip just as fast if not faster than reaching down between my legs, opening the velcro flap, then pulling a loose handgun from the pocket. This ranks up there with the Pager Pal as an idea that may have looked good in conception, but in reality is not so great.

    To be honest, the best rig for driving--especially for those who are right-handed--is a shoulder holster, preferably one that keeps the firearm parallel to the ground (jackass style); but if you're like me with kids behind you I use one that cants the weapon downward...

    Who gets to decide what is "reasonable"? The govt? There is no reasonableness clause in the 2nd amendment, for this reason. I can't think of one location where it would be reasonable to prohibit a citizen from carrying his sidearm.
