I had a ball as usual. I love walking up to somebody with a gun, and loaded mag in hand, and say "check it out." I have learned to only say YES with that proposition. I was especially glad to get Greg up there so y'all could meet him. I love that man (no homo.) I was really happy that some of the newer people came out. Had a good time with Rebel. It was nice to finally meet some of the old timers like Jackassh too.

I am amazed at the generosity and trust of the group. Two people (you know who you are) bought me some powder for re-loading without a thought about it. Orbitup gave me a pound of Goex - and I couldn't even get my BP rifle to shoot. I promise to have that fixed in October. Dawico - pfft - he was over the top. JRBfishin let me poach his black powder supplies for our pistols. If y'all haven't shot those, you should. They are like nothing you have ever shot before.

You damn people make me want to buy more guns though. That LaRue .308 Jared had, makes me moist. If he gets things going with his plans, he's going to put some serious hurt on my wallet. I had a load of fun watching people shoot SugarLand's & Grumper's full autos.

Blowing up the birthday cake was pretty funny (good shot Jeremy) but I didn't get to shoot the Shield - boo.

At the end, JD said we had 85 show up. Apparently a car is no longer necessary.

Thanks Curtis for the call - apparently I like to leave boxes of gear at the range.
If you come to October's meet, you can shoot my shield. I promise I just need to remember what you look like or just walk up to either I or Jeremy.

I have about 50 photos that are being uploaded to a photobucket now. I have a few videos as well, but those will be uploaded tomorrow.

Haven't even looked to see what LG got with the camera. Might be Monday before we can upload them when I get to work and have better service.

How is the shoulder Vaquero? Gonna run out and get a .340 Weatherby?

The steel plate worked out very well. I think it saved the lives of many paper targets today.

Today was a blast guys - not having a car to blow up really didn't seem to matter. I wanna thank my sponsors for the sweet swag, cool product displays, and just coming out in general. It's my goal to do buisness with each one of you at least once before the next meet. I'm writing your companies on an index card and putting it in my gun tool box.

Thankyou to everyone who let me play with your boomsticks. I got to try out two new calibers today (.338, and golf ball) as well as get back on an old favorite (full auto 5.56). Also, thankyou to JRB and Rebel for the stickers and ammo cans.

In all the excitement, I forgot to get Younggun and Dawico together and let them scrap it out for some 5.56 stripper clips. If one of y'all NEED em I can mail em. If not, I've got em on standby for next time we meet. I also forgot to pick up the plexiglass for my new camera box project from Sugar Land who was awesome enough to cut it and bring it. I got one of those deep chest sinking feelings when I figured it out. I'll try to call you tomorrow and set up a day to swing by, Sugar Land! I'm sure there's probably a few other things I'll remember when I'm in the shower. Just can't shake the feeling.

Thankyou everyone who pitched in on the awesome lunch. It was great to see you all again and hopefully we picked up a few new members today as well! I'll post a few pics in a min.

Sweet, can't wait to see them.

Just looked through the camera. Few of those perfectly timed pictures the LG managed to get. Maybe she can sort them tomorrow.

I had a blast today and was a bit disappointed to have to leave. I would have loved to stay all day. I really enjoyed putting a face to the names here and trying out all the guns I could.

Special thanks to Dawico for bringing the Benelli. It's a beautiful gun and the one I want for sure. Thanks for the opportunity to shoot it as I pleased and thank you for showing off that awesome truck of yours.

Thank you Younggun for letting me fire your .50 cal. That gun gets me so excited everytime.

Thanks to Sugarland for granting me the opportunity to shoot the Mach 10. Wow!!!! For a full auto, that was so smooth and light. Truly enjoyed it.

Vaquero your brisket was fantastic!! I absolutely loved it. Thank you.

Clark, I enjoyed meeting you and I thank you for the spare mag for the AR.

Thanks to everyone who participated in the birthday cake blow up. It was awesome to see that many people gather to see the special treat I prepared get disintegrated

As I said before, today was a total blast! I know I'm forgetting people and I apologize. Still trying to get the names down. All of you are a pretty awesome bunch!

I've got to say a heads up to Joshua and Jared. Shooting a 9mm with a can is too much fun.
