I think 2 hours of 12 ga. should be plenty enough.
If I can go, it'll be to look for powder. There is one vendor who is always there who historically has everything and at good prices. I'm guessing that the crowd will descend like locusts and there won't be anything left in short order.
I'm looking for an 870 police mag, or at least one that looks similar to this, but not so worn out and without the camo tape on it lol.

God bless her dearly departed soul but my mom could never pass up a $100 12 gauge at a garage sale. I've got a half dozen shotguns that I look at and go "I know I didn't buy that thing!"Your house or your safe is too big ...

I'll dig it out and post a picture here tomorrow. Unfortunately, that model is pretty much exactly what you are saying you don't want - no extended mag, bead front sight, and 2 1/2" chamber. At least they both have wood furniture, even if they do look like low-grade plastic.
All that may not matter if the price is right, right?
Go ahead and take your Redhawk to the show and try to find what you really want. You'll be happier that way. However, if you fail in your quest and think you might be willing to settle for one of my old pieces, I'll be happy to trade you for the Redhawk and throw in some cash. (Or maybe you've got something else to trade so I don't have to throw in as much cash.

Note for no particular reason - Something has come up tonite and I won't be able to make the show at any time this weekend.

Not quite to Huntsville yet with one stop at the bank to count coins.
