    What would it be?

You can't post some rediculously high priced car and say you are going to sell it for guns, ammo, or other cars. :p

I would take a McLaren F1. It just embodies all that I want in a car. Lightweight, N/A, and a V12.

porche 911 1967. love that car

HK_Fiend had a 66' model. It was a blast to drive for us youngins. We aren't used to the raw mechanical feel of older cars, but I could sure get used to it.

My dream Hot Rod is a Black 69' Camaro SS w/ white stripes and a Reher Morrison 747ci aluminum big block. It'd measure gas mileage in gallons per mile, but I don't care.

Dauer/Porsche 962 LM, behold it in all it's glory:

    1994_dauer_962_lemans2.jpg

That's 730hp, 2381lbs, 0-60 2.6 sec, top speed 250mph. The Porsche 962, and in it's earlier form the 956 (same basic car), won Lemans 7 times. Bugatti Veyron? HA! Child's toy compared to this. There is stuff now that is ultimately faster in top speed, however I just like the fact this a prototype race car that won Lemans 7 different times, and modified to drive on the street. There is something extra sweet about that as opposed to taking a 4000lb car, putting 4 turbochargers on it, AWD and making a million horsepower just to propel that fat pig up to speed (Veyron, hate those!). Despite overall top speed numbers, this car would run circles around anything remotely as fast considering the chassis/suspension design, light weight, etc.

Yep, Jim T, I had a '66 short wheelbase model, 5spd, 2.0l F6. A friend of mine bought it off me, though he may possibly be willing to sell it if you are that interested. ;)

I like high end expensive stuff, but I also love 'Vette's. The C5 Z06 is pretty much the best bang for the buck sports car out there. I'd buy one in a heart beat if I could afford it.
