look at this report from Fox News from last fall where several soldiers reported that in a pre-deployment briefing at Ft Hood they were told that Evangelical Christians and the Tea Party were terror threats to the United States and any soldier affiliated or caught donating money to these groups would be punished under the UCMJ

Does Army consider Christians, Tea Party, a terror threat? | Fox News

Followers of Ron Paul are threats? So that includes lots of young people and dopeheads!

Our gov is not neutral. It is aimed directly at anyone who isnt going along with the socialist revolution.
The majority of active military donations went to Ron Paul for 2012. The military as an entity hates fiscal responsibility but not the ones who have to fight.

Rick Perry was better than average as the governator. Bush was too. I didn't support the Dept of Homeland Security being formed by him. That's liberal as shit. Cruz and Paul are way better than average.

Who am I debating? Rick Perry or the Canadian?
"the Canadian".....you make it sound like an epithet. You hate Canadians too? Then you must really hate Conservative Canadians. Good thing I hold dual citizenship so I have a Plan B when you Liberals really **** this country up.

I don't hate but yeah I'm not a fan of canadians. And I'm no liberal. I don't tow any party line. I'm not democrat or republican. Im more libertarian than anything. I'm sick and tired of so called conservatives talking about big government then wanting govt to dictate what people do in their own homes in private or want to dictate what one puts in their own body.

Here we go again. Libertarians need to take over the GOP or get their party off the ground. Otherwise its like the kid in high school who always talked about getting a muscle car but never put in the work to get it.

As far as not liking Canadians...there are lots of conservative (or libertarian) Canadians. I even have an extremely conservative friend in Germany.

The National Front (considered far right) party is leading in the French political polls.

Not a very good analogy. libertarians are actually working pretty hard to spread the word and start changing the way people think. I've converted more than a few.

I'm also looking in to joining the Libertarian Party of Texas, just waiting on clarification on a couple of their official party stances.

The difficulty in the libertarian party is that it's not working within a party, similar to how the TEA party works, it's actually a separate party. It's also lambasted by the MSM because neither party wants another dog in the fight.

A kid talking about muscle cars it is not. It's also growing at a pretty good rate, and that doesn't happen by people sitting on their duff. There are many ways to work for change, and many of the best things you can do cost little or no money.

Ive studied politics for about 20 years now including 3rd parties and Euro politics. Libertarian Party USA? Im not impressed. Its height was rallying around the personality of Ron Paul. What's next? Im not condemning a libertarian takeover of the GOP. Im welcoming it. See how far the Tea Party can go in the GOP.

Glad you are doing what you can to bring people on board with your ideology. That is commendable and positive.

I think the time is ripe for a 3rd party. I would much rather it be something similar to TEA party vs Libertarian than Libertarian vs Libtard though.

Well, one day you'll have to tell me what you can't do in the privacy of your own home that Democrats would allow but Republicans would forbid. Anyway, I'm sick of so called conservatives too, except I don't call them "conservatives" because they aren't, they're RINOs which is a more apt name. We in the TEA Party are working, hard, very hard to get rid of RINOs in the Republican Party and replace them with true Conservatives such as Ted Cruz. It's a going to be a long hard battle because of the headwinds from both Liberals AND small "c" conservatives. Yesterday we (the TEA Party) showed this country what we can do when we swamped the Capitol switchboard with so many calls against Boehner's bill that he pulled it. Does the Libertarian party equally fight for what's right in this country or is their political action limited to pissing and moaning on websites about whether people are prohibited from getting stoned on their drug of choice?

Texas did have some crazy laws regarding the number of sex toys one could own at one point. It was eventually overturned in court. I bet Liberals were responsible for that one though, right.

You obviously know bubkiss about the actual Libertarian party. I'd wager your knowledge of libertarians in general is based on a reputable source, like the MSM.

The Libertarian Party fully supports 2A and self defense rights including unlicensed open carry.

I don't listen to the MSM, what do they say about Libertarians? Anyway, YG you didn't tell me anything I already didn't know about the Libertarian Party and please, understand from the start that I don't hold any animus towards the Libertarian party unlike many Libertarians who dislike Conservatives. I agree with much of what you Libertarians hold dear and that's what we should focus on: where Libertarians, Conservatives, and TEA Party members agree and work together to achieve those goals by winning Congress and the White House. Once we're in power, then we start the internecine squabbling over whether Meth should be legal, in the meantime we have much more pressing issues.
