"A U.S. Navy vessel destroyed three boats carrying pro-Iranian Yemeni rebels after they attacked a Danish-owned containership early Sunday, the latest in a string of assaults that have disrupted maritime traffic in the Red Sea."

About time. We should hit the Houthis with an overwhelming, out of proportion response. And sink some Iranian vessels as well. Iran will not understand anything but force, as history shows.

"“The attacks have lost all connection to Israel completely,” said Ami Daniel, chief executive of maritime artificial-intelligence company Windward. 'The Houthis don’t seem to be deterred by the coalition.' "

And they won't be deterred until they pay a stiff and painful price.

A senior Hezbollah commander was killed in Lebanon in what the group said was the second recent assassination by Israel of a militant leader there, as Israel showed it is willing to target Iran-backed forces across the border while avoiding an all-out war.

Hezbollah said the commander, Wissam Hassan Al-Tawil, was killed on Monday in an Israeli attack in a village in southern Lebanon. The Israeli military said jet fighters struck Hezbollah targets in Lebanon after a missile was launched toward northern Israel, but Israel didn’t say if Tawil’s death was related to the airstrikes or if the commander had been targeted.

I'm a big fan of assassination as a tool of state. In this day and age of weak, leftist leadership, nobody has the stones to do what it takes to win a war, and wars are crazy expensive anyways, so assassination becomes a very attractive option in cases where the opposition has a leadership structure giving the orders.

Having said that, I'm not sure it will help Israel. Millions of brainwashed Palestinian scumbags just waiting to step in to their suicide vests and behead some babies make the efficacy of the assassination option unclear.

But Israel missed their window to nuke Palestine, so this is about all they can do and still maintain the support of the leftists in Washington. It makes for enjoyable morning reading, if nothing else.

US and UK strike missile storage facilities and launch sites in Yemen.

Looks like Shotgun Joe is starting that war the left kept insisting Trump would start.

He is running for re-election and needs the distraction.

Remember how Clinton would lob a cruise missile somewhere every time another scandal erupted?

True. I was mostly remembering how Trump presided over treaties being signed in the middle east, while the puppet regime is presiding over war breaking out.

Check out the obj View attachment 426510 ect on the roof of the tank... what is that?

Looks like a rolled-up sleeping bag tossed on top of the cope cage on that tank. And it looks like they've tossed some tarps or rugs on top of it to provide some shade.

I'm guessing the Israelis will have better luck with those than the Russians did...since they're not having to fend off Javelins.
