So then why not just say that? It would seem that say the "22RF" drought being over in your post is not true if you are still unable to get the other offerings in rim fire as well. :p

99.9% of all .22 RF cartridges sold are .22 Long Rifle.

How about everyone post pics of empty shelves?
Glad you can find it in your area, but it is hardly "over". Drove to Shreveport this weekend to see Alice Cooper, and stopped at every WM and Academy between Austin and Shreveport. My total score? 0 rounds of .22 lr.
It is coming back, but there is a ways to go.

A while back I heard of people walking in to the local WM at odd hours and finding them stocking the shelves with a few bulk packs fresh off the truck.

Even that I have not heard about in over 6 months locally.

I can usually find some 50rnd boxes at academy, but haven't seen any bulk packs in a while and what they have is usually the premium stuff.

I sold all my .22LR ammo months ago and the rifles too. I sometimes stop by the local WM ammo section just out of curiosity and there's usually no other customer there... sometimes one. The other morning I walked by and saw about ten guys swarmed at and around the small ammo case. I just kept on walking. I don't know which ones were neckbeards and which were legitimate buyers and I didn't care. I'm out of the .22 rimfire game... probably permanently.

    QUOTE]

Was told that was how it works at one of the WM stores near me. It's a 24hr store; so, shipments are checked in and stocked on shelves at all hours...no 'overnight deliveries--get here first thing in the morning' situation there. I did think it was odd when I found two bulk boxes of Win 22lr in the middle of the afternoon...just lucky timing ;)

Seemed to be loosening up then dried right back up....at this rate it'll be another year or two before things are back to normal (i.e. bulk packs with no limits for $0.04/rd)

Justin time for another "crisis" not going to waste.

I find I can almost always buy at Academy as well. It may not be the brand I like, or a bulk pack. But it's almost always in stock and has been for the past many months.

Walmart is still a no go. I have had a few hits at Cabelas and Basspro, but mostly misses.

the neckbeards are still trying to make a profit. I can smell a whiff of desperation as folks are getting smart and not paying over $.10/rd for the bulk stuff. Im seeing $.08/rd pretty consistent. I'll buy from them at $.05 though.
