I'm curious, why do you say TSRA does not support open carry???

TSRA (Alice Tripp) was openly hostile to it the last session of the legislature. Now she says she will neither support or oppose it.

I support Open Carry for Texas. I heard that a State Rep was going to try and intoduce the bill. Any Truth to that?

No evidence so far. Looks like it's going to be at least another two years. I'd imagine open carry legislation makes great barter for other things the pols want to accomplish but can't by themselves.

I was listening to Cam & Co. on Sirius radio Monday night. Ted Nugent was on and he stated something that shocked me. As close as I can get is "We are pushing for Constitutional carry here in Texas and hope to get it through very soon. I mean it will be "real" Constitutional carry with no restrictions at all." Anyone else hear this?
