That is pretty must the same differential I enjoy from the temp as reported by our local newspaper. I live near the water and typically am 5 cooler in the summer and 5 warmer in the winter.Yes they are and it's typically 5 degrees cooler where I live. At 4:30am yesterday morning it was 45 at my house in the country, 48 in McKinney and 53 by the time I got to Irving. Granted it might be a tad cooler NE of the Dallas area but 5 degrees is typical year round.
