Proud dad has to share…Stetson said his first word!!

The word is “AT!” and it took us a day or two to figure out what he was trying to tell us.

    Hat, like a stetson? no…

“AT!” is what he calls grandma and grandpas new apartment!

It’s literary the first true verbal communication we’re had with him, and it’s especially awesome given his “on the spectrum” diagnosis.

At any rate, I just wanted to share.
We’re tickled pick and honestly its brought us more tears of joy than I care to admit on a gun forum

Now you're gonna have to watch what you say in front of him...

When my oldest was first throwing out random words ("ball", "cat", etc) we were driving home from somewhere one day and a dipshit cut us off, forcing me to slam on my brakes and scaring the hell out of my wife. "Nice job, asshole," I snarled...and from the back seat came a tiny, angelic voice that cheerfully sang out "ASSHOLE!!!"

And I got The Look from my wife.

    Like this little guy?

My nephew did something similar when he was about that size, except it was water. Apparently one of the staff at his daycare was having a bad day, and in the chaos caught my nephew and some other children playing and splashing in a rain puddle. "Get out of the fucking water!" said staff person shouted, and the boy latched on to the phrase. So for a few months afterward, all water was "fucking water". Hilarity ensued.

Noting to report, they’ve been out of town for a few weeks

But we think Stetson’s AT! first word isn’t for the apartment, but for grandma and grandpa…he hasn’t said it since they left.

They come home this weekend, in time for Rowdy’s dedication to Christ on Sunday.
So...while they were gone, were you able to:
    1. Get ALL their things out of your side,
    2. Move ALL the food/etc into their fridge?
    3. Install new locks between the places, and
    4. Put up balloons and Hang a big sign that says -
"Welcome home, now stay in here!"

    So? Were ya?

Congrats and blessings for Rowdy :)

Mrs Pronstar took the boys to the new dinosaur exhibit at the Dallas zoo today, and they narrowly escaped with their lives!
