Grilled chicken breast, 2 with Cajun 2 with lemon pepper. Hoe made cornbread in cast iron, (my better half would clarify as home made....) chicken rice made fresh with parsley and seasoning.

My wife has fine tuned the corn bread recipe for a couple years. Corn flour and corn maseca with some oil, buttermilk and sugar. I think the cast iron is the trick. I have a pan from my grandma that is a true non stick flavor maker.

I just wanted to touch back. This particular cast iron is the cats meow. I have 8 pieces in rotation and this thing kicks as every time I use it.

That makes me think of when I was still up in Minnesota. We would use sweet Vidalia white onions on burgers. My grandma would grow them fresh in the garden. You could practically eat them raw like an apple.
