Well, I shot at 100 yards today, just to make the OP happy.

I can't speak for the weather there, but is was perfect shooting weather in Clovis. Jobsite just ain't the place to drag out a rifle.
    Dang it!

I got home and it was dead calm. Woke up from a nap to sight in a rifle and the wind had picked up.

Woulda still been great shooting weather if I wasn't going to be sighting in.

Beautiful bore sighting weather here today. Red dot on AR15 done, reflex on pistol done. Parts for the other rifle and scope on UPS truck tomorrow and it will be done.
OP won't like it it though, was only bore sighted for about 25 yards. Oh well.

Most people have problems with AR accuracy because of the low tier optics they use. Elcan, Nightforce, Vortex, Leupold, Trijicon, Schmitt and Bender, Swarovski, Zeiss and Kahles are all junk. What you need is BSA, Tasco, Barska, or get what the operators use, the absolute best name in optics, NcStar.

The weather was pretty awesome. I took a couple of ARs and my Mini-14 to sight in. Dang PSA AR 15 surprised me. First 3 shots at 25 yards were one hole. I've got the Primary Arms MD-FBGII mounted on it.
