Yeah, I was considering that. Thinking I could do some cool stuff using FPV video and sound from the 808 cam while shooting and letting the QX3 auto hover and record video, then cutting the videos together.

I've been using Sony Movie Studio Platinum. Works good when I use it enough to remember how to use it, lol.
Need to see if it can do picture in picture. Was pretty good with it a while back.

I'd say yes. It's stable and easy to place. Doesn't rocket up in to space. Seems to want to be smooth with its movements. Although I've read how to switch it from AP mode to Stability mode. Not sure how much that changes in handling characteristics. I know it loses some of the GPS functionality and auto hover. Probably a bit awkward with the self centering throttle as well.

Yeah, it didn't care at all. You can see the trees waving in certain parts of the vid.
It might be faster than I give it credit, hadn't considered I was going in to the wind when I pushed it. And may be a different animal without the extra camera weight.

I'll be doing that soon enough with my ZMR 250 that goes 50-60 mph.
There was a lot of money wasted in a short period of time.
