Again, the only news "outlet" that is reporting this is TMZ, not exactly AP or Reuters as previously claimed. Most of these "facts" are coming from BARF.com, so again they are suspect. And the alleged Facebook post now claims to have been a hack, so there's dubious credibility there.
Plus, there is an entire section of the AK Forum dedicated to Red Jacket, and Will Hayden himself regularly posts there. If this were true, than why hasn't it been discussed/resolved there?!?
We've already had two threads closed on this, so why is there another one? Unless someone can post some real facts to back up these claims, it's just rumor and innuendo. I expect such crap as that from BARF.com, but thought this forum was a little better than that...

i used the exact same info provided in this OP and that has been available since yesterday, the only difference is i didnt copy paste the article to not infringe on possible copyright issues.

I'd also suspect that RFJ would speak out if some things were untrue and gaining such public info. I don't necessarily think it hurts to ask out here so long as we're citin the source rather than a I heard from an uncles cousins sisters brothers dog tha such and such happened. As long as the thread doesn't derail into an all out bash or comments of Sasquatch being found.

my only guess on why its not beem discussed there is moderation of any such discussion. somone asked earlier why they have not made any public statement disclosing whether its false. my position is that, its up to the company to see if a response is worthwhile and that holding off on a comment, might be a good publicity move, even if its unintentional.

I tried my best to keep everything in my post Fact by verifying though two credible sources, some had three. Each of those sources backed each other up with the same story and timeline lending to their truth. TMZ was the best summary even though they were a bit off at first, see the note below added to their website.
The only thing that didn't make sense was the FB post noting 2011 as when they lost the FFL. Notice I didn't put the information in the FB post as the fact, I simply noted it was posted.
Another thing that doesn't make sense is folks thinking this is Red Jacket's doom. Simply not the case.

The reason this isn't locked is the peripheral evidence contained on vinces facebook page and the fact that he has started a new company.

I'm sure nothing is being said due to some damage control by RJ and Discovery Channel. If its true, probably some kind of Gag Order type deal where they can't talk about it for a certain amount of time or until the seasons episodes are over.

But Flem and vince were my favorite characters.

dont lie, you had all their shows recorded to an mp4 so you could watch it on your phone at work.
I have watched every show up until this new season when I lost interest lol. I skipped through most of the first episode of the first show of this season, haven't seen any more of them, but now I want to.
And if I watched TV shows during work, I'd probably crash and die
Yeah, it does reek of the "Jr vs Sr" crap American Choppers is trying to play out. Honestly, they must be good actors or natural idiots as they are very convincing; but the landslide of "reality" shows lately has put every one of the in question. Even one of my favorites, Pawn Stars, is severely scripted; and it's one of the better ones.
It's a sad testimony of our society when people care more about the characters on these shows than they do real people in their lives. Honestly, as stated previously, I am not a fan of any of these contrived dramas and would rather watch a more educational and entertaining show such as the History Channel's http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tales_of_the_GunTales of the Gun. Ian Hogg makes Will Hayden and the rest of the clowns at Red Jacket look like...well, a bunch of clowns!!
