    NOW, you get a picture of his drivers license and a signed paper to cover with serial number of the gun on it, now you can cover your ass and show it to the cops.
    Now if he will not sign the paper and allow you to take a picture of his license, send his ass on down the road.
    This is a joke, right?

    If it's not, then I have to look over the forum rules. There's an admonition in there about not advocating breaking the law and, iirc, it says that some judgement must be used on a case-to-case basis.

    In this case, what you describe is fine for you, but only for now. If the current proposed regs are finalized, what you describe is sufficient cause for the government to begin an investigation into your suspected unlicensed business of dealing in firearms. It may well turn out that someone who reads this thread a year (or five) from now will see your advice, take it, and find themselves on the receiving end of search warrants for their house, place of business, financial records, and more.

    As much as I love the give and take, Coiled makes a good point. BOS has been covered enough on this forum.

    Also, the OP has had his questions answered.

    This thread no longer serves a purpose beyond fostering drama on TGT. We don't need that. It's done.
