I have a couple flash hiders if you want them. Not sure what other parts I may have. PM me if you can use them.

I’m looking for an upper right now but if this has to be a build, than I will definitely take you up on that. Thank you for reaching out.

Trey has me thinking now. Please help me out with this decision.

The last time she said anything, she wanted a full on rifle caliber pistol. Should I side step that and do the 9mm route? I mean the reason she wanted a pistol is that she is a tiny lady. Although she is tough, maybe it WOULD be best to kinda do the whole “we experienced gun owners know what’s best for you”, thing.

If not, it will be a 10.5 build to give enough momentum and I’m going to give her two mags worth of soft tip 5.56 and then some steel cased rounds to practice, so ammo wont be an issue.

That's a 300 Blackout, but the equivalent in 5.56 would be a great start.

I don’t know how I missed that. What an idiot.

Hey all, so I called my FFL who is a very close friend to see what he had and it turns out he’s in the hospital with a bad case of covid. Please pray for him. His name is Brian. He’s a good man.

    EDIT

    Here we go… ?

Of course every last bit will be used on her, so if there’s anything left, I’ll get her more ammo, or just give her what’s left.

So since my FFL is out of commission, for now (God willing), I’m just going to use one of my lower, but put the LPK with FCG in it, because it’s a better brand than the one I have in it. It all goes to her.

Let me know what yall think.

I can almost cover the rest for one of these…

    4AF8F67E-AC32-40BE-AB0B-D893AA38D1B9.jpeg

Then, I can either send the LPK/FCG back to @toddnjoyce, or raffle that off too, along with the BCG I bought for her, and of course the red dot and shield.

    What do you guys think?

I have a changing handle you can have if you decide to do a build. Let me know.

I sure will. Thank you for reaching out. What do you think of the options I posted? Go with one of those, or build? What do you think?

Ok, since everyone agrees, I will do that. So that mean we need.

•I have the red dot and BUIS
    •LPK W FCG offered-
    •Barrel
    •Handgaurd
    •Comp was offered-
    •Upper receiver
    •I bought a BCG today-
    •Charging handle has been offered-
•Lower receiver - I may donate one of mine as my FFL is in ICU
Another option is buying one off a member in TX and ship strait here since it’s in the same state
    •Buffer tube
    •Buffer and spring
•Oh yea gas tube and block
    •Brace
    •Castle nut and end plate
    •Takedown pins
    •2 mags
•I’m taking care of two full mags of soft tip and at least 100 rounds of range
    •Angled grip - I may have one
•Light - got that covered as well

Uhhh plates, plate carrier, battle belt, safariland… Haha just kidding.

So yea I think that covers everything. I’ll update with a more concise list of what we have and what the donated funds can cover.

FEEL FREE to give any advice or suggestions as to spending the donations wisely on parts. As for the build, I’ve built plenty and none have blown up, so I think I can manage.

People, I love you all. Doing this with you guys really takes some of the weight of sadness off of my chest and I feel very thankful.

Any suggestions on the best one stop shop to buy parts from? I usually and almost exclusively buy used, so I’m not familiar with any sights that can supply the bulk of the rest of the parts, at great prices for all.

How about this for the barrel?

    Brace?

    Gas tube and block

So I think this all would be good to get from this sight. Do you concur doctor?

    This would total $179

    Receiver set?

I know cheaper than dirt are dirtbags but it’s in the budget and WC is a really good brand if I’m not mistaken…

    Buffer tube assembly?

Haha, may as well throw this on it…

    Same site for takedown pins…

This site would total $40 with the receiver set bringing it to $149. Put that with BCA, above and it’s roughly $328.

So that would basically leave room for a decent MLok rail and a couple lancer mags. I have a light I was going to put on it, but I may be able to get a nicer one. Maybe an olight, or streamlight. Something with a pressure pad.

And I think that’s it…. RIIIGHT? May be missing something.

Any suggestions for a cool 9-10 inch Mlok rail? I was thinking Aero precision, or some other brand that has nice ones but can come within the budget you all blessed her with.

Total roughly $239 before tax and shipping. Still need MLok rail but for that and a decent light, we have what we need and I can cover the rest.

Let me know if you guys think this is a good plan. Man I can’t wait to post the video so you guys can see the effect of this and the raffling is gonna be fun. Maybe I can figure out how to do a live youtube video and let you all know when it is and I’ll do it live.

Any further donations of cash (there is most likely JUST enough to finish), if extra will be given to his mother. Any further donations in parts aren’t necessarily needed, but if anyone still wants to chip in, they can go toward the raffle, or if it’s a rail or light, the gun, but I think this about does it.

God bless you all and thank you, from the very depths of mine, my family, and surely my late buddy Levi and his mother.

Also, for anyone else who needs help in this way, in the future, I’d like to volunteer my time to help organize and arrange something like this. The gun community is the best community on the planet, bar NONE.

Love you all. Still, feel free to leave suggestions and advice for this build.
