I've never been, but recognize way too many names from 10years of car forums on this page, I've always just crewed, i enjoy turning a wrench more so then doing the actual racing

Never got into the standing mile type stuff though, mainly because of the cost involved.

Yep, they were put in almost every Silverado, Sierra, Suburban, Yukon GM has produced since 2001.

Yup. Go to pasadena. About 60% of the chevy trucks there are cammed, 6.0 swapped, ect ect.

Incorrect. It is an ls motor. The 4.8, 5.3, LQ4 (low compression 6.0) LQ9 (higher compression LQ4), LS1, LS2, LS3, LS7, and even the 6 bolt block LSx Gmpp motors are ALL ls based engines

Not a fan of the LS motor but as far as cheap.Mod motors and Ls motors are "nearly" as cheap as a boat anchor 302 or 350s.

Worlds fastest Mod motor mustang is faster then the worlds fastest LS car

Mod for mod, LS motors are the cheapest thing ever to mod. It has effectively replaced the sbc 350 as engine swap of choice for anything it can be stuffed into
