Hmmm. just like in the "good old days." Ukraine wants to make it legal for officers to kill their own men if they try to surrender. https://halturnerradioshow.com/inde...cers-to-kill-surrendering-ukraine-army-troops

The articles says to kill their own troops. The bill doesn’t say that. Someone’s trying to extrapolate meaning from what is likely a shitty google translate version of the original document.

Can’t say that I have much faith that the wording is actually what is written, and even if it is assumed to be correct it still rapes the say what the author claims, and even at that point it ignores the context of “if it is impossible to stop the offense” along with “if “nome” do not cause death”. That last part is completely ignored.

That articles was good for a few laughs.

If it was about provocation Putin would have attacked while Trump was in office and. It taking any of Putins shit. Putin attacked because the West showed weakness, not provocation. And it still doesn’t explain the previous invasions and captures of Ukrainian territory.

Sorry, that narrative doesn’t fit with recent history.

What I've heard from some folks there is Ukrainian sugar and salt factories or warehouses where bombed and now there is a shortage in atleast Lviv where they were. They say there is plenty of food in general, but salt and sugar are hard to find.

Russia wants to erase the idea of UKRAINE from the worlds memory.

There were, and still are, holocaust deniers that say the death camps and wide spread atrocities committed by the NAZIs were only propaganda... people denying Russia is habitually attacking non-military targets with intent will be shown to be just as foolish.

About problem with salt in Ukraine.
Man trade 1.5 kilogram of salt for one liter of gasoline or diesel.
    City of Dnepr(Dnipro).

    News from DPR.

The investigation of the criminal case against mercenaries from GB and Morocco has been completed in the DPR, they face the death penalty, was told in the Prosecutor General's Office of the republic.

According to her, the involvement of the British Shaun Pinner and Andrew Hill and the Moroccan Saadoun Brahim in the fighting against the Donbass has been established.

Russia seems to be deploying T-62s to Ukraine. If the Ukrainians found the T-72s easy meat then they will love the T-62s.

That's not what you do in a war you are winning. They will also have to crew them... likely with less training, it is going downhill fast for the rashists.

    T62? Which one, what modification?
    Little idea for them.
Russian still use AK47(OMG 75 years old), AK74(48 years) and not only Russian.
USAF still use B52(since1952), British FV430(in service since 1960s).
    M16/AR platform(1964), 1911(best gun ever).
    So stupid.

AK47 serves its purpose today better than a T62. Would you rather be in a Sherman or an Abrams?

Rifle tech has not greatly changed with the exception of rails and optics... both of which all but the most modern AK platforms lack creating a severe disadvantage for the user.

Bomber tech has changed a lot and a B-52 would only be able to operate in a stand-off capacity, or where it had total air superiority.

Tank tech has changed substantially in the last half-dozen decades. It is more like putting a 60yo fighter jet up against modern ones, these tanks will get chewed up much faster due to limited NV and non-existent thermal abilities. I can see better with my helmet mounted PVS and my rifle mounted thermal than these tanks can.

Non of the examples you provides were relevant, its not just the age, its how that type of equipment has evolved in that time. Even the modern "M-16/M4/whateverosthelatest is nearly unrecognizable compared to a M16A1... and the user of an M16A1 would be at a big disadvantage compared to the modern variants.

The T-62 literally won't be able to have a chance of seeing a anti-tank missile team in anything but daylight.

Oh, and the break through ЗСУ made pushed 9km deep near Брускинского!!

It seems that the Russian troops are not as hardcore as their grandparents were. Either they are lacking zampolits or they need tougher zampolits to fight the lack of the proper fighting spirit!

The conditions there are TERRIBLE for both sides. Think WWI with drones... also consider that those complaining might still be pretty hard-core and the conditions are just that bad.

Anybody want to adopt a dog or cat?

There are about 30 dogs and 30 cats/kittens. They have had about 3000 animals pass through since the war started.

I've heard it is about $1000 to get a dog to the states after airline fees and stuff. If that's too steep, even a few bucks go a long way over there.

One had a missing leg due to a landmine injury...
