    WSJ:

The Azov Regiment is known for its courage—and controversy. U.S. media has reported that some members espoused neo-Nazi ideology, a claim the Kremlin has taken up. I asked Mr. Krotevych about the unit’s reputation. “Like in other units, including military units of the U.S. army, there are some individuals who hold Nazi views,” he says. But labeling the entire regiment neo-Nazi “is like calling all Americans racist because the KKK exists in the U.S.” He adds that extremists have been “dishonorably discharged without the right to wear the uniform or chevron.”
Only people at the intellectual level of blm/sjw think Russia is in Ukraine over racism.

Putin is stealing Ukraine land and resources pure and simple.

    Are you seeking donations?

    Pass...
    Did I ask for donations?

Or are you just going out of the way to make sure everyone knows you won't do anything to help those caught somewhere they don't want to be and can't get out of right now?

I really don't understand your point in replying at all. Was it to discourage people from helping others? Do you not think there is a real need? Do you think they just deserve what they get? I really don't understand or see how your post would help anyone make a decision.

It seems that the Russian troops are not as hardcore as their grandparents were. Either they are lacking zampolits or they need tougher zampolits to fight the lack of the proper fighting spirit!
You didn't hear their grandparents complain, because those whom did were shot.

Thanks to @toddnjoyce I've gotten a bit addicted to Jack Carr's podcast. I came across this one, and yeah, it is a couple months old, but Peter Zeihan actually predicted that Russia would invade Ukraine in 2022 back in 2014. He gives some good insight on Russia, especially in the first half of the interview, and also on China/Taiwan and the U.S.A.

    …Jack Carr…
I think @Aus Schwaben turned me on to his books. Strarting in July, his first book will be on Amazon Prime video as series a la Reacher.

Timing wise, our military careers overlapped. I’ve never met him, but I’m fairly certain we’ve been involved in some of the same ops, just listening to some of his stories.

I don’t listen to all his episodes, but I do listen to a fair amount of them.

I'm mostly poking fun here but its easy to predict something after it happened. Russia invaded Ukraine in 2014 remember "little green men"?

I may have to listen to this guy's podcast though.

He predicted that Russia would invade Ukraine in 8 years in his book, 'The accidental Superpower', which came out in 2014.
