Also, talks about banning open carry in their stores.

I wonder if WM will put their handgun ammo on clearance.

Maybe on guns and ammo, but they seem to be going the opposite way on gun cases.

Have seen billboards for Lucky Gunner, but lots of places if you do a web search.

I do not recall buying any ammo apart from .22 or shotgun ammo from Wal Mart in years. Here in Alabama some of their stores quit selling guns after Sandy Hook but started back a few years later. Some locations do not sell guns at all. I went to a Wal Mart in Sterling, CO several years back and was really surprised at not only the stock of guns, ammo, but reloading supplies which I have never seen in a local store. Evidently it is different around the country I learned. I bought my first .22 rifle in a K-mart store here back in the 70s but I am not aware of any in my state anymore let alone their gun policy. As a kid in the 60s I recall them selling some handguns in K-mart. Best to support your local gun shops in the long run I decided.

No shit. I understand verbal notice, but Walmart claims it is only going to "ask" people to leave. Remember the old "ask, tell, make?"
Pretty simple--if they ask you to leave, you leave. I wouldn't shave the semantics between "ask/tell/make" too finely, were I you. Just saying.

Yes, a manager could walk the store and "ask" people to leave, but is that effectively "giving notice?" Some would argue that it is, but if given a choice then refusing to do so, what happens then?

If a 30.07 isn't posted and he tells you to leave, you still have to leave.

On another note; **** Walmart. I used to go there all the time, but no more.

EDIT: Major, just read your other post about ask/tell. I think it would still go down the same way. In a court of law though? I'd say you're chances aren't great, and it probably isn't worth the time and money.

Why even go there anymore? They're against us, and we should not support them.
