Ordered a Timney trigger fix kit (new adjustable sear and light weight springs) for my Remington 742 in 30.06. Took it out today, and the trigger is horrible. At least 6lb’s and probably closer to 7 or 8. This kit has 2,3, and 4lb springs, and the adjustable sear allows 1/2lb up or down, so I could get the pull down to 1 1/2lb.

Figured if I was putting Timney springs and Timney sear in my Remington 742, I may as well replace the trigger on my Remington 721! Ordered the Timney Elite Hunter from Primary Arms.

Ordered some wolf recoil springs for the High Standard I just bought from z0tex. That little pistol has a 2lbs trigger! Found some subsonic and sv loads in my hoard. Can't wait for the sun to come up tomorrow

Was on a road trip and had to “go.” Stopped at Bass Pro and they had CFE223. Bought two lbs. been looking for a couple months.

Two different articles I read said that was the most accurate powder for 224 Valkyrie. That was the final component I needed to load test rounds. Hope to get those ready tonight for this weekend.

Installed the Timney trigger kit on my Remington 742. WOW! Like a new gun. Ive got it breaking at just about 1 1/2lb’s. Big difference from the supposed 6lb factory trigger that was closer to 8. Hoping to be able to test it out early next week.

I haven't bought anything. But, my ammo sure is organized!

I found about 40 rounds of 40 cal hollow points while I was at it. I don't have a 40 cal gun so I have no idea where it came from.

If anyone wants it, let me know and I'll bring it to work for you to pick up.
