What is your nightstand/bedside pistol setup?

Bingo; exactly what I do.

My wife keeps the Mossberg 500 on her side of the bed.

I sleep near the safe

When I get home in the evening I open the safe and put the STI ranger away, unloaded. I proceed to load the HK USP45CT, with M6X laser/light and Gemtech Blackside hanging on the end. I do not want to loose my hearing in any after dark scenario.

The thing is not silent by any stretch but it will allow communication with others in the house if someone puts my family in a situation with no alternative. The phone is next to the nightstand where the wife will be calling 911.
