Like I've said, I don't want to go down that rabbit hole. Much of the supporting documentation was authored within the last 40 years and hasn't stood the test of time.

I spent decades working in a super-PC environment. I've dealt with it in great depth in the past and it's a subject where I feel obliged to bite my tongue too often.

My conclusion is that most gender issues are crap and I just find it too exhausting to talk about the subject in detail. Even I don't like having to type out that many qualifiers.

I wasn't trying to argue with you guys, I was trying to inform you that you are using terms incorrectly. Gender and sex and their definitions are not made because of "PC" considerations. You are born with the sex male or female, but you engage in masculine or feminine roles. How is that a difficult concept? You can argue wether or not traditional Western gender roles are founded in nature or simply cultural, but you cannot argue that gender roles are anything other than just that, roles. An argument might be made for certain expressions of gender roles, such as men are more physical so their roles express that, but you cannot argue that arbitrary things like pink and blue. These are more simple cultural assignments. There have been societies with more than 2 genders, but guess what, they still only had 2 sexes, because that is how you talk about this stuff correctly. You could have a 100 genders if your society called for it, but still only 2 sexes. As you guys yourselves are arguing, this person quoted by the OP is not adhering to traditional roles, and so they identify as a non-specific gender. To change the identity of their sex, they would have to do as you guys say, change the "plumbing". This has nothing to do with that person being a liberal and wanting you to accept some new order. I mean, maybe they do, I don't know then, but again, by definition gender roles are that, culturally assigned roles. Sex has to do with biology.
