I have an Airlight 38 snub. It looks just like the one my dad carried in his detective days, but lighter.
Thanks....The DS is my usual daily carry...I like autos, but prefer revolvers. While I can't say I am a Colt fan, it is nice to know somebody else likes double action revolvers.
Those are sharp.
Nope. The AirLite is the scandium framed option that's even lighter than the Airweight.I'm guessing he means S&W Airweight...never heard of an Airlight...I do like the old model 37 Chiefs Airweight...I'd like it better if it had 6 rounds instead of 5 though....
Well, I learned something new....I guess I'm not up to date on Smith's..lol....Nope. The AirLite is the scandium framed option that's even lighter than the Airweight.

Two rounds of 170-grain hunting ammo, just to stroke my own ego.The AirLite is the scandium framed option that's even lighter than the Airweight.
Nothing special, a 1967 made square butt Model 10-5, 2" barrel. Locks up like a bank vault. Finish is damn near perfect save for one or two blemishes. Case hardened trigger and hammer coloration is still strong, the thing almost looks new.
Probably should have wiped it down more before snapping those shots though.
