fluoride was discovered as a by product of nuclear testing in the 50s
some of the fluoride compounds are used in anti depressants and other psychotic drugs

I wonder why the government wants this in our drinking water?

I fought like hell to keep it out of our drinking water 10 years ago, but some do gooder dentist fought to have it in and we lost that public vote to the ignorant voters

When we get the Kardashians off the TEEVEE and off the trashy magazine covers at the grocery store checkout, then and only then, I'll start working on less serious issues like fluoride.

I'm not sure if a brita filters it out. I use one though.

Why are they still putting fluoride in our water? I know it's been going on but can we stop now. We have better stuff to spend our money on.

Do BRITA cartridges remove fluoride? The BRITA cartridge is not designed to remove fluoride. Some fluoride is naturally present in tap water, whilst some water companies add fluoride to the water. If you are concerned about the presence of fluoride in your tap water, you should check with your water supplier.

    Helotes!
Possibly one of the best movies ever made. Did you catch James Earl Jones? You can't fight in here, this is the War Room!

Agreed. For a long time there was an urban myth that Lieutenant W.D. Kivel (the other navigator who pops up with James Earl Jones) was Dennis Hopper, but it was actually an actor named Glenn Beck (no relation to the conservative political commentator)...

But it was George C. Scott who uttered that famous line about fighting in the war room! It's been repeated over and over again during Air Force staff meetings ever since!

And Tracy Reed was a dish, wasn't she?!? :D

p.s. The documentary on the making of Dr. Strangelove is equally excellent!

    Cheers! M2
