Just received an email from McKinney ISD that even though the majority of parents want their children back in school (instead of online), MISD has went against their wishes and is mandating online for first 3 weeks.
I called the City to find out Covid death rate for City...24 to date...population 190,000 +/-
Of the 24, 9 I know of were in April at a nursing facility.
    This nonsense needs to stop!
Gather up some other parents and stand up.

So everyone remains good and pissed off, I’d like to remind y’all that nobody anywhere has actually discussed a framework for how we get from here to this time next year; I get that everyone is looking one step forward to a vaccine, but producing 335M doses doesn’t happen overnight...at 1M doses/ day, that’s still 11 months of production and knowing that about 150M flu doses have to be made each year as well.

Seems like the only plans right now are to just keep kicking the can for 18 more months.

    But what do I know?

If the chart is accurate and my math is correct -

    Adjustments.jpg

    Death Rate per Million Population

    NJ 18/100ths of 1%. 1 death per 567 people
    NY 17/100ths of 1%. 1 death per 599 people
    Both less than 2/10ths of 1 %

    USA 4/100ths of 1%. 1 death per 2400 people

    FL 2/100ths of 1%. 1 death per 4878 people
    TX. 1/100th of 1%. 1 death per 8695 people

Because acknowledging that they will be doing this for the next year and a half will send everyone into a frenzy. I've already resigned myself to the fact that my life won't be somewhat normal until I'm in my 40s.

By the time you get into your 40s everything you consider normal will be "old school" and you'll be a "boomer" if you expect things to stay that way.
