Requires a doctor's referral - which I was hoping to get today from America's Frontline Doctors - but I can't get an appointment with them, so we're trying to find another doctor that can see us that doesn't charge a stupid amount for a consultation. The antibody treatment is/was part of my plan, but since it seems AFD is under some sort of organized cyber attack, they're not taking patients at the moment.
no it does not require a referral. There’s one right near you in the woodlands. Just walk up. No money, no referral

I am not a big "herbal" health remedy guy. But some have been medically proven to be effective.
We all know that herbal has been the source of digitalis, penicillin, and perhaps others but I don't know of any "proven" Covid Rx. I believe the monoclonal ab Rx has been proven, is free but does require a referral. Time is of the essence so farting around with Amazon delivering licorice root is not the smartest way to go. We want our friend to not get worse and need to be hospitalized. The goal is to get better fast.

No it doesn’t. I just went there on Sunday, no dr referral and not appointment. I just walked right in. That article you posed is an old article. The attached flier clearly says walk-ins welcome and referral not needed.

Be smart, go for the monoclonal ab, get better, and from what I understand you can’t get the vaccine for several months even though you may want it, or not.

Generally your point is sound. The stuff works. Along with olive leaf. It’s shortened illness with me. I also know it’s legit because of my old man. Who is a dr. A chemist. Who holds a PhD. Who in the labs of Oregon state university researching natural products can assure me these work and why. There’s a lot of snake oil in natural remedies because people can get caught up thinking it’s a cure all. Sometimes the crap that’s marketed does nothing. In the case of what’s been discussed in this thread it’s fact. I’m not calling you out and you’re welcome to tell me I’m stupid but my perception is different seeing and hearing what I have growing up around my dads research. Pharmaceutical companies can rarely be trusted.

Which “proven” Covid Rx works? The time to get treated with monoclonal ab is now not after finding out that the Amazon delivery doesn’t work. I believe that most people agree the ab Rx works. There are many effective medicines derived from plants, morphine, cocaine, cannabis, etc. some safe, some not. My opinion though considering Sas’s complaints is that he should grab his wife and get monoclonal ab Rx. His choice though.

I will respectfully leave your first question alone to respect your view point and avoid us going no where. Lol. Again you’re not wrong. We both care about what’s happening to sas. It’s his choice to listen to whatever he wants, as you noted. I do not trust what’s happening in our country; the world right now.

My point for licorice root and olive leaf is it works. If sas feels he needs medical attention I trust he’s smart enough to see a dr. At the end of the day he started a thread, asked for advice, we responded because we have free speech, and he’s his own man.

The antibody treatment was always part of the treatment plan, not just relying on the vitamins / medicinal herbs (there is plenty of research from credible sources on the antiviral properties of the herbs Sam mentions, I researched it after he mentioned it)

Wife & I are going to the antibody clinic tomorrow morning - its a bitch to get hold of the clinic to see what their hours were, I finally got hold of Montgomery County Emergency Management and the lady told me they stop administering new treatments at 4PM, and there's no guarantee you'll be seen promptly as a walk-in because it depends on how busy they are. Neither one of us is going terrible at the moment, so waiting a day isn't likely going to result in any problems.

I've called numerous doctors offices this morning trying to get seen and discuss treatment options - everyone around here is booked up or not taking new patients except urgent care facilities.

Revising the plan - I think we're going to go with the antibody treatment, and see how it works and if we still need, we'll bite the bullet, go the urgent care route and see what other medicines they'll prescribe - like hydroxy or ivermectine.

Sas if I could snap my fingers and transfer your illness to me I would. No matter what condition your in I’ll be praying for you. I’m going to probably get blasted for this post but be sure to ask for a lil help from the lord and his son in this time of need.

So then just say "time is of the essence, recommend you get monoclonal ASAP".
