We had baby back ribs with cabbage fried with onions and bacon last night. Between us we only ate 1/2 of a rack. I pulled the bones out and put the leftover meat in a tuppie.
I’m thinking either pea soup or navy bean soup.
Anyone have a better use for leftover pork?

Grits IMHO needs pork. I have even used leftover smoked pork in Cup O Noodle Spicy Shrimp & Pork. When I do it I cook it in a pan then start kicking it up.Cilantro white onions Hoi Sin Sauce, Fish Sauce, lime juice. and actually get the noodles cooked. We had baby back ribs with cabbage fried with onions and bacon last night. That's the place where the meat is sliced in a smokey room?City Market (Luling) for lunch. Pretty good. Their sides could use some work, though.

I love those whole Chinese roasted ducks. They were what I’d take on picnics .vs fried chicken.Din Ho Chinese BBQ in Austin. The regular Chinese dishes were good, the Chinese BBQ, not so much. I am beginning to realize I'm not a huge fan of duck.
I'm not against duck but I am still looking for a preparation that I like. The one I had tonight was much too sweet, down right sugary, especially with the hoisin sauce they served with it.I love those whole Chinese roasted ducks. They were what I’d take on picnics .vs fried chicken.
