You wouldn't know the right thing to do if it sat on your face. And yes, I'm a prick, arguably the biggest on the forum, but unless you want to catch a ban when a mod wakes up, it's best to keep that to yourself.

He didn't create an incident. You did. You escalated it. You clutched your pearls, your hall monitor sash, and the throttle on your Segway simultaneously, and got to flaunt your authority.

    You saved nobody.
You really don't get it do you...

You don't bring guns to school...

"You clutched your pearls, your hall monitor sash, and the throttle on your Segway simultaneously, and got to flaunt your"

This/\ is made up stuff to insult me.\

    "You saved nobody."

/\ More made up stuff. I never claimed to save anyone.

He did create an incident. He did something he knew would attract attention. He got it...

One more time, real slow.... I don't have any authority. I only walk, check, and look. If I see something I make a call, that's all.... Anything else is just stuff you made up...

I have a daughter-in-law and three grandchildren at our schools. After Uvalde, I put together a group of MEN to do what I do. We had to be vetted and approved by the Superintendent and were given a set of protocols to follow... Because of what we do, our school doors are closed and locked, the locks function properly, we are a visible presence around the campuses, and Yes, our campuses are safer because of what we do. All three campuses have passed the State's inspections. These are men who use their days off, or take a day off to volunteer for this. We take it seriously because, if we can help it, we are not going to have a Uvalde situation here...

Just out of curiosity, what do you do, besides complain, post stupid gifs, songs and belittle others?

"You don't bring guns to school" school shooters do. Yet you run around, doing nothing.

Me saying "you saved nobody" is to hopefully highlight how pointless your self appointed job is.

"He created an incident" you know this how? Did you read his mind? Or was he just some dude minding his own business before you paul blarted him? If you hadn't have seen him, or accosted him, would anything have happened?

You might have great guys working for you, but bragging about turning over a filthy law breaker over to the police is not a good look. (Neither is calling people on the internet pricks).

"We aren't going to have a Uvalde situation here". Well if you turn over gun owners to the SRO, thats exactly what you'll have.

In addition to me complaining, posting gifs, songs, and belittle people, i occasionally try to talk sense into fudds that view gun owners as threats.

There's no sense with you. You came here patting yourself on the back so hard that i heard it from the subs i typically post in. Then you got butt hurt that people don't take kindly to fudds like you.

More made up stuff... Maybe you just can't read and comprehend... I can't help you there...

There was no bragging, just stating an opinion and the exception to my not being concerned about OC...

He brought his gun onto campus is how HE created the incident. I reported it like I'm supposed to do, and accosted no one...

This Blart thing is really on you mind... maybe read a book or something besides watching made up stories on TV.

"In addition to me complaining, posting gifs, songs, and belittle people, i occasionally try to talk sense into fudds that view gun owners as threats."

So, you do nothing.... that's what I thought. Talking sense is not one of your strong points.

Fudd... You really have no idea... Just more made up stuff in your head...

    Sleep it off ...

I need to sleep it off? Tomorrow's my day off, so i sleep in. I bet you won't be here when i wake up.

"My not being concerned about OC", concerned enough to report people who OC to the SRO. Concerned enough to be here. Concerned enough that you have 2 pages worth of replies calling me a prick.

The blart thing is on my mind because it's such a perfect fit. You do nothing, and what you do is counterproductive to what you claim to want, and when people call you out on your BS, you hide behind the law, yet exist in ignorance of the past 90 years of the law being systematically weaponized against us no matter how well we comply. No matter how many compromises we make. In ignorance of when your beloved law sat outside a classroom putting on hand sanitizer and laughing while a gunman took his time in a classroom.

What do you do here? Try to hide your thinly veiled fudd nonsense? How many other firearms related topics here have you taken part in?

The only time I OC is when I'm in the woods. CC for populated areas.

Before moving here, I thought there would be a lot more formal BBQ's that would require fancy 10-gallon hats, shiny boots, and tricked out BBQ guns holstered in hand-carved leather. **Sigh** :D

Tomorrow is your day off? Why don't you go down to the school of your choice and make sure the doors are locked, and check things our... Don't carry unless you want to commit a felony though...

No, I won't be here when you wake up. I will be doing productive things.

Oh, you mean when the forum police see that I called you by your middle name... Yeah maybe... no big loss right... You sure make use of authority when it suits you... you've been threatening me with moderation....

Numbers? Thousands of gun related conversations, just not here... use that google thing.. I'm not hard to track... I don't hide well...

Nah. I'm familiar with the nearby schools and their security. They don't need me harassing OC'ers because only honest men CC.

You won't be here because there's no way you aren't getting the hammer. Normally i like trolls like you, but you've flown too close to the sun. You've become an insufferable fudd.

"Prick" is actually my maiden name, thank you.

Normally, smart people have some degree of speration on the internet. You've done a lot of dumb things in this thread, but daring someone to doxx you, no joke, is extraordinarily stupid.

    My experiences with “open carry”:

I thought I would OC. I said I would OC. I grew-up in an adjacent state where OC was never illegal and was common practice; so common that it went unnoticed.

I bought several holsters & rigs for OC.

I told folks I would OC.

But, It seems that almost every time I set-out to OC, I decide “not this time”.

So, my experience is that I believe in legal OC, I advocate it, and I’m well prepared; yet I rarely do actually OC.

And, when i do OC, here is always at least one other concealed on my person.

It may sound silly; but living w/o HEB, i really patronize HEB whenever possible; several times/day. I don’t want to disarm or cover-up to enter.

    Some “experience” !

I feel like Gun owners, particularly those who choose to carry (Of which I am one), have an obligation to know the law and follow it... To do otherwise sends the wrong message to those who would deprive us of our rights.

Hey, this is America, I get to do that, and I get to have my opinion on it as well...
Hmm. That argument is kinda interesting. I feel like Congress has an obligation to know the Bill of Rights and follow it. Unfortunately, their opinions get backed by people with arms, who gladly infringe on other people with arms.

What message do we really want to send? That confuses me.

And you can have an opinion, but some opinions are logically worth less than the electrons used to express them.

But, it is my business to not have people unauthorized carry at our schools... Prick.. It has nothing to do with Goody two shoes or anything else except safety at the school...

    Alan
What if said guy was being chased by some mafia dudes who moved in a few houses down, decided he didn't want to leave his gun home, and further decided that he was going to exercise his constitutional right to "bear" - which means to wear or to carry - said arms - and not leave them in the car?

If you aren't omniscient about the guy's circumstances or motives, and the guy isn't posing an active threat, you may find that you are actually the bad guy from a moral standpoint.

    Amen, AMEN !

No one’s “opinion”, no lobbyist for anyone, should be able to override our enumerated RIGHTS supposedly protected by our Bill of Rights and our Sureme Court !

But corrupt politicians allow that. Including corrupt politicized Judges !

Trouble is, the message you're sending is "Sign me up to help you enforce those laws you're using to deprive us of our rights and eagerly inform on others, I'm on board with it!"

And then you get offended when the rest of us are less than impressed with your willingness to make sure those infringements are enforced.

And, we are a nation of laws... We have a process to change or abolish laws. That process begins at the ballot box, not by simply ignoring or violating the laws. As I pointed out in an earlier, unread, post... these laws are changing for the better, despite opposition from the left. They are changing because we are electing people to change them according to our Constitution, and not because we decide not to follow them.

There is a time and place for civil disobedience, that time has not yet come in regards to gun laws. Think of the smile on Brandon's face if he had the chance to declare martial law because of widespread gun law violations. They are already calling us deplorables and MAGA terrorists.. They'd love nothing more than for us to prove them right.

I'm not arguing that the violations of the Constitution are correct, I'm saying there is a way to change the laws without becoming criminals.

Maybe you missed the massive efforts including civil disobedience that were undertaken here in Texas by folks to get the laws changed. That didn't happen because of people reporting their brothers, that came by united efforts to prove the laws wrong. Sometimes you actually have to deliberately risk arrest or order to be considered to have "standing" in our legal system.

I'm not ashamed to say that I was at the Alamo back in 2013...
