Old or new I never had a ruger that was a work of art. But all the rugers I had or still own made before 2000 have been reliable.

I have a 1995 10/22 that has beet perfect. My dad has an early mk3 (2005, iirc) that just runs forever.

Ruger can certainly make a good gun, my boss keeps an LC carbine on property, and it's been working fine. I know many happy ruger precision rifle and rimfire owners.

Yeah. I prefer second gen mini’s. The ones from the early 90’s have always been gtg.

I see guys at work rocking p89’s.

They do know, but want to create an illusion that there is a difference between a 10¢ snap ring, and a $1 'piston ring'.
They have been quite successful doing it.

If you have a cheap source of ar15 bolt compatible snap rings, I'd love to see it.

They were favored by Hollywood because they could just give actors live ammo and not have to worry about anyone getting hit, instead of using expensive and hard to find blanks.
I heard some extras on A-Team caught some grazers. A few requiring a band-aid. Could have been worse with blanks.

If I could find a decent deal, I wouldn't mind picking up a wood stocked Mini. Mandatory Accu-Strut so it'd look like a baby M-14/M1A. Maybe it'd help accuracy, maybe not. Range plinker. Not everything has to be 1/4 MOA...unless you're a P.O. Ackley devotee.
