If I could find a decent deal, I wouldn't mind picking up a wood stocked Mini. Mandatory Accu-Strut so it'd look like a baby M-14/M1A. Maybe it'd help accuracy, maybe not. Range plinker. Not everything has to be 1/4 MOA...unless you're a P.O. Ackley devotee.

If it were $500, even $700, sure. But at 1k i don't think it's unfair to expect 2-3 moa with good ammo and good optic.

A little. They handle barrel heat a bit better, throw less totally random flyers, but 2 MOA groups will not happen consistently.
    Hmm.
A buddy has a couple of recent builds.
I'll try to remember to report back in a few weeks.

Mini and ak accuracy is interesting. Some just shoot better than others. I killed a lot of pest with a mini14 in my early 20’s.

It’s a good ranch gun with good varmint ammo. Remember: it’s not the same as trying to put tight holes in paper. It’s about getting body mass and blowing up the hell out of it.

Another SFAR, again super light staking, YFS screw.

Got to compare it to the pof rouge, the pof is much nicer, the key is dovetailed into the carrier. Staking was actually properly done

Over pressure plus an uncrimped primer. Its rare but can happen
I’m trying to visualize it. So, a primer, gets jammed up in or around the gas key area? What kind of hangover Monday engineering is going on?

Did they get people from keltec involved?
