Well, all I can say is that all of you guys were dead on. Took the GP-6 to the range on Saturday and was very impressed. The feel was good, action tight, the trigger was short and sweet, and the accuracy at 21' was comparable to my CQB!

I didn't bench rest it but my best 5 shot group had 4 holes touching and 1 an inch below (my fault).

Thanks for this great site with all of your reviews.

The mags. for the GP6 and "April debuting" P1 are both 17 round capacity....and STI has extras from Grand Power(the Slovakian manufacturer), if you want more than the 2 that come with these great pistols.

Hey guys, been reading here for some time about the gp6. Well I placed my order earlier this week and recieved it today. Nice looking piece but haven't got to try it out yet, I will this weekend though.

One thing that bothered me there wasn't any kind of a owners manual ???
You pay over 600 for a sidearm with no manual...come on
I'm ex-Army so I know how to operate it but still would like to have a manual for reference purposes or if I ever need a part.

Also is anyone making some decent sights for this thing ?? The sidearm feels good handling it but the stock sights suxxx...please any advice is welcomed.

Ohh, I think I read somewhere some glock holsters fit it ...again any info is much appreciated. Nice site BTW and thanks for any help.

    how long?

well ive read a lot and all are good comments, but how long can the gun last especially in competetive firing and why doesnt shooters of the IPSC recommend it when it even came out earlier than CZs shadow

    Just my 2 cent's

For me The only big advantage of the SP01 is the capacity !

In Europe the gun is new but gain more and more and a lot of top shooters use this gun now when shooting production and at the last world shoot i speak with some Slovak Guys about the durability/longevity of the K100 and apparently there's a lot of guns with more than 100.000 rounds

    Some great names :

    Vaclav Vinduska
    Ernest Nagy
    Jan Palka
    Gregory Midgley.
    Jorgi Balesteros
    etc......

You can find here some videos of the K100 in action with a world class shooter.

Because the manufacturer while talented, is small, as has been the production run.

For what it's worth, I'm on my second. I can't find anything on this gun likely to wear out. Feed clean burning ammo, it will run all day long.

Lot of pages to read, what kind of mags does it take?

The mag uses the same body as the CZ-75/SP01 Shadow, except it has an added hole on the front panel of the mag for the center mag catch.

In a pinch, it's easy to convert a CZ mag.

The manual is written in the Yugolslavian version of Chinglish. Are you saying you didn't get one, or that the one provided sucks?

The factory offer optional serated or fiber optic front sights, and an improved fixed and adjustable rear sight.

I use my older Hogue IPSC holster, but the Uncle Mikes or Bladetech holsters work fine as well for IPSC. Any holster made for the Glock 20/21 should work.

Frankly, until the slide cracks due to metal fatigue, I can't find any area of the gun liable to fail. The rotary action is very gentle on the moving parts.

    Manila, Philippines
Hi to everybody, Am Hanns from Manila, Philippines. Just paid for my new GP6 this afternoon. Hoping to pick it up next week when all the papers are done, Thank you guys for discussing this pistol in this forum. This influenced me a lot in deciding to buy this gun. There is a lot of reviews praising this new baby. I am using now my Para Ord SX14.45X Limited edition, Glock 18 Full auto with compensator and Arminius .38 Special revolver. I also have both the Franchi SPAS 12 and the latest SPAS 15 magazine fed shotguns.
