Thanks for the links my friend, you're making my credit card burn, but opening my eyes to new options with my upcoming "super lightweight build" project. I'm almost sure I will get sub-6 pounds with rifle/mount/optic.

I think you could get to 11 pounds if you throw a DBAL-A3 on the end.

If i want to go all out, I'd find my AR to mossberg 500 stock/grip adapter that i bolted an ar15 stock and grip adaper too that weighs like 4 lbs

I have a very light weight build and has little to no recoil. I did it just because and why not have a light gun!

I will say that mine didn't have a mag or any ammo when weighing it. All though I could carry a 139# gun around, but only from the vehicle to the range (hopefully very close).
