...was there anything on it today?
One thing parents can do to help against gun control is stop with the bs dialog. Here's the thing...and I have thought about this. Might be morbid but I have thought about it. None of us know in this day and age if our own kids could be one of the few to be someday killed. Be it by a shooting, auto accident, hiking, just life in general. I even think about my own mortality and understand any day by any means. We just don't know. I do know that if my son ever had red flags to be a school shooter that's on me. I'm the father. This kids dad needs to be saying "this is my fault. I wasn't doing my job as a father". And you own up. Take the thunder right out of gun control. And the shooter’s family expressed their regrets and shock & dismay their son could do such a thing. “That’s not the kind, loving boy we know.... yada, yada, yada...” Smart kid, not a hateful bone in his body, etc. etc....
Eh, 10 bucks says the dad let him get away with crap.He probably did keep it hidden from his parents and others

The media wants to keep the Parkland shooting in the spotlight. I've noticed that nearly every article about the Santa Fe shooting mentions the Parkland shooting. As in " In the wake of the Parkland shooting" etc.I disagree, if a sexy gun had been used, they would have been talking about it and they have lines all day today

“If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it. The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State can shield the people from the political, economic and/or military consequences of the lie. It thus becomes vitally important for the State to use all of its powers to repress dissent, for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth is the greatest enemy of the State.” Joseph GoebbelsThe media wants to keep the Parkland shooting in the spotlight. “The courts ruled based on the idea that those 17 and younger don’t have the cognitive development to appreciate right from wrong,” said Michael Radelet, a University of Colorado at Boulder sociology professor who has testified in more than 75 death-penalty cases. “Cases like this that are especially violent and an enigma make some people think they are more deserving of death, but the ruling is about the development of the juvenile brain.”
Yes, I knew that, but it still leaves a bad taste in my mouth. I would vote for the needle.Just because he is up for parole doesn't mean he will ever be paroled
He probably did keep it hidden from his parents and others
