I'm going to try and make it. Wife signed me up to help "decorate" for a football banquet at my son's school. Not quite sure why I need to help. I'm all thumbs with ribbons and stuff.

QUICK UPDATE: It looks like we are going to have a really good turnout on the 8th but I wasn't able to get enough RSVPs to get the banquet room because they look to sell a certain amount of food in exchange for reserving it. I called and talked to the manager again and explained my predicament of being unable to get an accurate head count. He is going to let us just order what we want individually as we arrive and is still going to reserve the banquet room for us.

We're still meeting at 6:00

Friday, February 8 at Rudy's BBQ in Allen.

I'm looking forward to seeing everyone.

Thanks for doing all the leg work of putting this together. It will be nice to put a few faces with the handles.

If the group wants, we can get Shoot Smart for a private party. They'll close down the private suites, include targets and rentals, and we can have at it. There is a fee, so some coordination would be required and attendees would have to pay in advance. I can get info and start a new thread.

I'd be down with that.

You may want to pick up a superiority filter for it. Without it your poor little Nikon is likely to cower and weep in the shadow of my all mighty 7D. I'd hate for it to develop a complex.
