I think we'd have people complaining about damage to the earth by drilling for oil, special trucks that use oil and to transport the oil, storing the oil, VOCs emitted from oil and gasoline, cancer risks with long chain hydrocarbons, its a flammable liquid capable of burning for hours, huge storage tanks, lack of infrastructure to distribute the gasoline (remember no ICE cars exist for the millions of gas stations), companies doing all of the above making trillions in unjust profits, noxious gasses and smog emitted every time it starts up, the incredible complexity and maintenance schedule.

Kinda makes you want to buy $3 worth of gas at that pump and spray it all over his car.

Nah. Too many innocents would be at risk.

And a security camera would catch you deflating tires.

I wonder if there's a surreptitious way to drop a caltrop in exactly the right place. Probably not.

I need to cogitate on this a while.

ETA - I feel the same way about pickup enthusiasts who block Tesla chargers. They deserve a .50 BMG AP to the block and a tow to the impound lot.

I kinda think it’s payback for trucks parking at the chargers
