No mention at all about capacity, which I believe is a valid concern for the class.

The class should have just required three 10 round reloads, whether it be magazines or speed loaders.

They should know better than to say that a 1911 isn't the perfect fighting tool.
Am I the only one with 10 round magazines for 1911?

For realz question...your average CHLer, er why would they need this course? Most of the CHlers I've known, although great people, could better spend that money reviewing the pamphlet on the laws, sending that money downrange and maybe taking a good class on conflict de-escalation. (there's a class I would pay good money for).

Plus, I have my CHL badge and sash. I don't need any of that training nonsense.

The biggest problem with sending tha tmoney down range is doing it in a more constructive way than 99 percent of ranges out there allow you. Not a lot of ranges out there that allow draws from concealment and such. In some instances these classes are the only place people get that chance. I'm lucky in that I have access to a range that has "tac bays" and I can do anything I want to do for the most part.

Well shit. According to the article:
"In response to the clear and overwhelming demand for these firearms to be used throughout the entire course, our instructors have decided to accommodate all safe, reliable handguns with a capacity of 6 rounds or more."
I guess my 5 round SP101 is out.

Glad they pulled their heads out anyway.

That's pretty much what I expected.
It is quite the conversation piece though...
