The ostrich boots seem a bit flashy, but overall that sounds much more constabley. Our Constable came in for a chat today.....Stetson, pressed white shirt, blue jeans, badge on leather belt with a 1911 on the other side and his full quill ostrich boots.......
Not that there's anything wrong with that.Flashy?
Back in the 80's, in Houston city limits, the sheriff and constables would both vie to be selected by my homeowner association for contracted neighborhood patrol. The constable was selected one year and the sheriff promptly abandoned service of any kind. He said, 'any crime, let the constable handle it'.
I've seen several cases in the cities in TX where I've lived that the various LEO agencies hate each other. At least Houston eventually got rid of their City Marshals.
Flashy?
I don't consider mine....flashy........
But concede some may think that....
Not that there's anything wrong with that.
Full quill used to be the sign of someone with money to spend and no work to do.
We all know you have no work to doI never heard that.
I've been wearing full quill for 40 years.
So you’ve had too much money for 40 years?I never heard that.

So that means you’ve had 3 times too much money.I guess according to some.
3 of my 4 pair are full quill.
So that means you’ve had 3 times too much money.
Maybe, until you consider my oldest pair of boots is 40+ years old.So that means you’ve had 3 times too much money.
