You're reading too far into it.

And yes, taurus and kel tec are trash, it doesn't take a genius to realize that inconsistent QC and nerf gun style construction backed up with ads about gay people that hang around truck stop bathrooms or drinking your own urine is not the way to build a positive reputation.

Current sig has no redeeming qualities, unlike Walther or CZ, or a decent number of 1911 offerings.

I'd say this is a crock. Glock lovers tout the Glock as much as a 1911 lovers tout their platform. I'm a H&K guy, so I don't have a dog in this pissing match.

It's not worth anyone's time to make memes about Springfield XD's becoming completely inoperable because of their grip safeties malfunctioning, or the striker pin shattering, guide rods breaking, fracturing chamber walls or cracking slides. Friends don't recommend friends buy Springfield XD's because of those things and it's already well known.
