    sad to hear you lost your dogs as they are truly a mans best friend. If you ever are interested in owning a top breed Malinois I can get you in contact with the kennel I brought my dog from. All dogs/litter from this kennel is working for the army, law enforcement, drug finding, and also do wonderfull as family dogs. And also the price is more than a good deal.

    The source of American liberty originated in the "Declaration Of Independence". Fifty Six, American Patriots broke free of English rule by signing this document on July 4, 1776. They signed at the risk of their lives and property. The document is called "The Unanimous Declaration of the thirteen united States of America."

    In part, that document declares:

    "We hold these truths to be self evident that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their creator with certain unalienable RIGHTS that among these are life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. That to secure these RIGHTS, Governments are instituted among men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the Governed, that whenever any form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the right of the people to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new government, laying its foundations on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them seem most likely to effect their safety and happiness."

    The Declaration goes on to enumerate their specific grievances against the King of England. Fifty Six representatives signed their own death warrants by putting their names on this document.

    They don't "give" us anything. That right was given to us by God. It cannot be taken away but they are doing their best to infringe on it.

    This is a critical point.

    It depends on belief that God grants rights. Liberals for the most part deny God, therefore claim rights are granted by man. If granted by man then they may be controlled or even removed by man.

    The whole Constitution is based on the rights granted by God, and the resulting government based on the consent of the governed. Rights are permanent, the consent of the governed changes every 2-6 years.

    If we as a people elect socialists, we get a socialist government. It would be by our consent. But whoever governs, they do not replace God or God's rights, unless we allow it.

    For one, I will not allow it. Will you?

    Except for the fact that was not the case ... a singular fact that the progressive mind has hung their hat on for 200+ years, to be used as the root justification for bludgeoning change to what would otherwise should have been a lasting exercise in self government.

    When part of the argument fails, the rest is assumed by those who oppose, to follow.

    Things there are really beginning to suck. And that is a damn shame. Haven't been there in 53 years, but I still remember some really nice country and people.
    A tread on the laws and some pics would really be nice.

    Texans are indeed lucky. Our gun laws keep getting better; for example we can now openly carry a handgun. Not all Americans are so fortunate though. Visit these two forums for an example of where the gun laws are headed in a much more restrictive direction: www.calguns.net, www.nyfirearms.com. California is on the verge of banning all semiautomatic firearms. New York has become a police state, where a citizen must apply for a permit to even own a pistol. Forget concealed carry in those states (for the most part) unless you are a celebrity or politically well connected.

    Welcome to TGT, Nio. I have been to Amsterdam, but unfortunately only to the airport while in transit to other parts of Europe.

    I was wondering about your laws regarding the ownership/use of a crossbow in self-defense. Perhaps better than nothing. I hate the idea of you going down without a fight. What about air guns?

    Thanks for telling us of your Malinois. They are a noble breed.

    By the way, is tannerite available in The Netherlands?

    Hello shinnosuke,

    Funny That you mention the crosbow I indeed own one as they are legal in my country.
    I own à Barnett lightning compound bow 150lbs but to be honest à handgun would be more suitable in my opinion, as am alternative iT Will do for now

    Hello TX69,

    I found Texas gun talk as I was searching the internet for a platform where there are actualy people That share the same idea about firearms and laws as myself. When looking for European sites you Will only find That people are against guns, or people That want to own a gun for all the wrong reasons. IT seems That there is no inbetween.
    And Reading all the replies I get on this forum I can only say I am glad I joined.
