Took over an hour to try and install the Magpul sling plate. Holy Hell. I'm having a hard time transitioning from left to right with it too, but then again I'm practicing on an AR with no upper lol.

I just put my ASAP on. No problems to report from it. I did slip taking the castle nut off for the first time cause of the staked factory fit. But after that I just tried both of those little inserts and tightened the castle nut when it fit. I was done start to finish was about 30 - 45 minutes.

tap talked from a phone yeah im on my phone! it's crazy!

Went with PSA with a 13'' troy alpha rail.

Sights are in today, and I'm very satisfied with them. I didn't get a chance to call PSA, but I'm calling them tomorrow morning before I go into work to inquire about my upper and where they are at with it.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOO. My upper is in but I missed it!

I had it shipped to my friends house because my apartment complex isn't very 2A "friendly". He was at work and wasn't able to sign for it. Dammit!

Also PSA never sent me tracking info.

Funny, I just run a regular old single point attachment that runs off the left side of the rifle. Zero problems with shouldering on either side. Never been able to see the need for those fancy "ambidextrous" single point attachments.

I hated the single point. I took it off and put the factory plate back on. I just didn't like it. I'm thinking a 3 point is gonna do the trick but we'll see.
That sucks with your upper They probably have it at the ups/fed ex store.

3 points suck. They don't do anything a good 2 point won't, and the 2 point will get it done simpler.

Single points have their good points, but they're definitely not meant for carrying a rifle around. It's just a way to free your hands up without laying the rifle down.

Yeah I found out all about the 1 points. I think I'll get a good 2 point and try that next. Any suggestions?

Not really, the last 2 point I had was modified from a 3 point. There was one I thought was interesting, have to look when I get home.
