Gotta be a way to cancel a post?. Leave the page, and/or close the browser and reopen, and the post you decided not to pull the trigger on follows you around like a grey ghost.
It works, I've done it. Just erase the quote also.Delete what you've written and don't click POST REPLY. Should work unless maybe you're quoting someone.
Yep, tried that first and the original text kept showing back when I went to the last post in the thread ... might've been cached up in the browser, or server side ... or it was a momentary glitch? Seems to be working now, but a "Cancel" button would be a helluva lot more elegant ...Delete what you've written and don't click POST REPLY. Should work unless maybe you're quoting someone.

Yep, lots'a of wasted acreage.if ya'll wanna revert back to the other loved forum interface im ok with that.
(not really caring for this at all... but, in my defense.... I am 50, former US Navy, and don't like change)
Just to the right of those 3 lines is the actual "new posts" button.I don't understand one thing.
When I log in on my phone the screen is somewhat different.
On the left side is a button with 3 horizontal lines.
When I click on that a menu opens on the left side.
That is where I can look at the new post since I logged in last
On my tablet, that is not there
When I hit the internet quick settings drop down on the browser, it does not look like it is in desktop either.
So why is it different between my tablet and my phone?
ah....Just to the right of those 3 lines is the actual "new posts" button.
But now there is a new one, makes two...ah....
