Not to be a killjoy, but how responsible was a 104 yard shot?
Don't get me wrong, I'm glad it ended well.
This was my thought....at 100, hell at 25+ yards the risk toto reward scale gets skewed (for me). In this case it ended well but I wonder if it's something that should be "applauded"

For the record...good guy killing bad guy should absolutely be applauded but I think discussion of possible errors/ways to reduce risk should also be discussed anytime force is used whether the outcome was bad or good!

I heard on the news earlier today that he made the shot one handed....I was sitting there yelling at my radio as to why they did not say distance but I knew it had to be pretty far considering he was against a rifleman who was firing upon him. Jesus though over 100yd one handed, with horse reigns in the other hand? That's nucking futs.....you would think it was Miculek making the shot or something. Wonder what caliber it was.

    Depends on the lighting.

Like I said earlier, I wouldn't be impressed by someone hitting a B26 Target (or is it 27?) on the range, but things are tougher under stress and I've never tried it under stress.

Can't wait to find out how he got the guns. I'm sure Acevedo is chomping at the bit to call for universal background checks.

They lump being against biracial marriage as part of being ultraconservative Christianity...media will do everything they can to turn the screw by exploiting this goofy guys beliefs. Being against gay lifestyles is biblical. Being against biracial marriage is not.
