I bleed with a Damn safety razor

No pressure. Let the weight of the razors head do the work.

Go with the direction of hair growth. And use extreme caution on the neck. That's where I get into trouble with all my shaves. I try to get baby bottom smooth and end up lifting a layer of skin.

Check out straight razor designs. He's got safety razors too.

He probably uses a mach 5 or something close to it. So he's use to whacking away at his face. He'd cut head off starting off with a straight razor.

Butterfly opening safety razor is intermediate. He'll have to slow down a bit. Once he's use to that....It'd be up to him to try the ultimate.

    Agreed.

A disposable is not the same as a safety. A safety is not the same as a straight.

Over a year and a half and still the same german razor on my safety razor. Best 35 dollars I ever invested. Can shave and super speeds even though I don't unless I'm in a hurry. Can probably move up to the straight blade.

Go to a barber and get a straight razor shave. Pay attention the the directions of the blade swipe. How he holds it.

You'll also know what a proper shave feels like. It's a good jumping off point to trying a straight.

    Miss it, don't you?

It's the ultimate shave. I enjoyed the hell outta a barber shaving my neck after a hair cut. The epitome moment you realize what 'sharp' really means.

Never heard it mentioned before, but you nailed it.
The only thing I look forward to when getting a haircut...

I dunno, having that hot little mamacita give me a scalp massage and neck massage at sports clips is pretty awesome.

    And injectors are something else.

I don't see anybody making new injector razors and prices for old ones are all over the map. Blades, though, seem pretty available at ~$1 each from multiple sources. I grew up with an injector setup and I've got an itch to try it again. Not too sure how well it would work on my dome, though. :)

Shaving powder works great on the solar collector. :)

Just trying to keep the thread alive!

This soap is awesome for protection as well as scent. The razor is ikon' new X3 Slant and does a great job at mowing down a weeks worth of growth!
